What is the hurricane katrina?


Hurricane Katrina of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season was the costliest hurricane, as well as one of the five deadliest, in the history of the United States. Among recorded Atlantic hurricanes, it was the sixth strongest overall. Hurricane Katrina formed how i told yu over the bahamas on august 23, 2005 and crossed southern Florida as a moderate category 1 hurricane, causing some deaths and flooding there before strengthening rapidy in the Gluf of Mexico. The strom weakend before making its second landfall as category 3 strom on the morning of Mondy, August 29 in southeast louisiana.(:!! so yes it was really dangrouse when this happend so many chlidern died in the horrible hurricane that they now call it the hurricane katrina!

How did the hurricane katrina form?


The hurricane katrina formed from a tropical wave and a tropical depression in the Bahamas with conditions in the area such as a low pressure system and humid temperatures added to the making of this hurricane. Wind started to from moving in a spiral and, as the air pressure continued to drop more air was sucked in creating a vortex of the hurricane!(:

hurricane katrina. Also more than $81 billion dollars in damages had occurred. The hurricane was also the sixth strongest overall the hurricanes in the United states and and the world. It killed so many young children and babies and women and men and dOn August 28th , 2005, hurricane Katrine hit the southern coast of the United States with a bad effect. It also was reported that more than 1,800 people lost there lives in this terrible hurricane that they now call it the estroyed millions of houses.
